Ever since we moved the ABCO EXPO to March, the energy of the show has been taken to a new level since the cooling season follows shortly after. As of January 1, 2018, you must be EPA certified in order to purchase refrigerants containing CFCs, HCFCs or HFCs. Technicians must handle all HFC refrigerants and appliances containing HFC refrigerants in the same manner that they now handle ozone-depleting refrigerants. Fortunately, ABCO can help you.
